Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, sociales y de la Educación, Pereira, 2018El Trastorno del Espectro Autista es caracterizado por dificultades en el reconocimiento de las emociones propias, de otras personas y situaciones empáticas, es decir, registran una reducción en la cognición social y la empatía. Aquí estudiaremos las diferencias entre niños con TEA con funcionamiento de alto rendimiento y controles respecto al concepto de empatía por el dolor. Se realizó un diseño muestral intencional n = 60 participantes, cada grupo estuvo conformado por n=30. La empatía fue medida a través de Empathy for Pain Task (EPT), donde se evalúa en el contexto de situaciones intencionales, accidentales y neutrales, que valora componentes cognitivos, afectivos y morales de la empatía. Los resultados muestran que en las situaciones intencionales los niños con TEA presentan un limitado procesamiento de la información cognitiva, afectiva y valoración moral; es decir, menos empáticos que los niños controles. En conclusión, nuestros datos proporcionan evidencia parcial a la hipótesis que los niños con TEA son capaces de identificar procesos cognitivos, afectivos y de juicio moral en contextos que involucran situaciones de neutralidad y accidentalidad, por lo tanto la situación de dolor causada intencionalmente resultan siendo menos empáticos./ Abstract: The Authentic Spectrum Disorder is the one that improves the recognition of one's own emotions, of other people and empathic situations, that is, it is reduced to social cognition and empathy. Here we study the differences between children with ASD with high performance and controls regarding the concept of empathy for pain. An intentional sample design was carried out n=60 participants, each group was made up of n=30. The empathy was measured through the task of empathy for pain (EPT), where it is evaluated in the context of intentional, accidental situations and neutrals, which values cognitive, affective and moral components of empathy. The results show that on intentional situations, children with ASD, show limited processing of cognitive, affective and moral assessment information; in other words less empathic than the matched controls. In conclusion, our data show evidence in cases with children with ASD are able to identify cognitive, affective and moral judgment processes in contexts that involve situations of neutrality and accident, therefore the intentionally pain situation caused less empathic.Universidad Catòlica de pereira.
