Summary: | This study pretends to assess the reinforcement process involved in smoking behavior persistence in university students. Through an A-B design it was analyzed the persistence of smoking behavior of 62 students who voluntarily accepted to diminish their cigarette intake with one of four possible procedures: cost of response, e-cigarette, nicotine patches, and the combination of these three options. Cooximetry testing were taken, it was applied the QSU-Brief, the test of Fageström, also the habits questions before and after each of the stages. Seven participants ended the whole process; it has observed higher negative craving reductions, dependence and CO2 for those e-cigarette users. |
