Esta revisión sistemática sobre el EP en padres con hijos diagnosticados con TEA, tuvo el objetivo de identificar cómo y qué se está indagando sobre la relación entre EP y TEA. Los artículos se recopilaron mediante las siguientes bases de datos: Scopus, Google Scholar, Redalyc, artículos resultantes 770, artículos revisados 101, variables codificadas: definiciones de EP y de TEA, indicadores del EP y TEA, características sociodemográficas de los participantes, instrumentos de evaluación, resultados hallados frente al TEA, EP y relacionados. Concluyendo que, la relación entre EP y TEA puede determinarse por los recursos económicos de los padres, estrategias de afrontamiento y gravedad de la sintomatología. Sin embargo, se precisó explorar nuevos factores/variables para determinar su influencia en la relación EP y TEA. Palabras Claves: revisión sistemática, trastorno del espectro autista,TEA, estrés parental. / Abstract: Parental stress (PD) refers to negative feelings experienced during upbringing (parental perspective), this is affected by neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This systematic review on PD in parents with children diagnosed with ASD had the objective of identifying how and what is being investigated about the relationship between PD and ASD.The articles were collected through the following databases: Scopus, Google Scholar, Redalyc, 770 final articles, 101 reviewed articles, coded variables: description of PD and ASD, indicators of PD and ASD, sociodemographic characteristics of the participants, evaluation instruments, results found against ASD, EP and related. Concluding that the relationship between PD and ASD can be determined by the economic resources of the parents, coping strategies and severity of the symptoms.
