Estudio con diseño no experimental en el que participaron 1.137 sujetos (M=543 y H=594), de los cuales el 46% corresponden a nacionalidad colombiana y el 54% a nacionalidad mexicana. Se utilizó una ficha de datos sociodemográficos y laborales, una escala de tecnoestrés, tecnoadicción y tecnodependencia. Se realizó un modelo de senderos. Los resultados indicaron que la generación muda (r=151), el uso compulsivo del celular (r=384), el phubbing (r=312) y el uso del celular al conducir (r=-0.21) presentan una relación positiva con el uso excesivo de las tecnologías y tienen una influencia directa en su uso compulsivo. Se concluye que la tecnodependencia afecta el tecnoestrés y la tecnoadicción. Abstract: The objective of this research was to analyze the role of technodependence in techno-stress and technoaddiction in workers from Colombia and Mexico. Study with a non-experimental design in which 1137 subjects participated (M = 543 and H = 594), of which 46% correspond to Colombian nationality and 54% to Mexican nationality. A sociodemographic data sheet, the techno-stress, technoaddiction and technodependence scale was used. A Path Analysis was made. The results indicated that mute generation (r = 151), compulsive cell phone use (r = 384), phubbing (r = 312) and cell phone use while driving (r = -0.21) present a positive relationship with excessive use of technologies and have a direct influence on their compulsive use.
