Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sociales y de la Educación), Pereira, 2009Este trabajo investigativo se desarrolló en un colegio público de la ciudad de Pereira desde julio de 2008 hasta noviembre de 2009; tuvo como objetivo identificar cuáles eran las manifestaciones de violencia escolar construidas socialmente por los estudiantes de noveno grado del Colegio Oficial Jesús María Ormaza de la ciudad de Pereira, se trabajó metodológicamente bajo algunas de las características de la teoría fundamentada. Algunos de los resultados estuvieron del lado de reconocer que el ambiente hace a las personas violentas y que éstas no nacen así son los espacios los que posibilitan que se vayan formando violentas; espacios como la calle, el barrio e incluso el colegio. /Abstract: This research work was carried out in a public school in the city of Pereira from July 2008 to November 2009; its objective was to identify the manifestations of school violence socially constructed by the ninth grade students of the Colegio Oficial Jesús María Ormaza of the city of Pereira, working methodologically under some of the characteristics of grounded theory. Some of the results were on the side of recognizing that the environment makes people violent and that they are not born this way, it is the spaces that make it possible for them to become violent; spaces such as the street, the neighborhood and even the school.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
