The research work arises from two levels of analysis, one theoretical and one contextual. This way is expected to account for the relationship that appears between the development of a company as a multinational and other companies and elements of the value chain. El desarrollo de la presente investigación cen-tró su atención en la caracterización e identi-ficación del impacto que tiene la industria ali-menticia en la economía regional, analizando el problema desde tres perspectivas: económica, financiera y administrativa, lo que per-mitió determinar las variables de la investiga-ción. El trabajo de investigación se plantea desde dos niveles de análisis, uno teórico y otro contextual.
