Facultad de Ciencias Economicas y Administrativas, Pereira, 2009El objetivo de este trabajo es determinar la evolución de la competitividad en los sectores metalmecánico y agroindustrial para un grupo de departamentos, incluido Risaralda, en el período 1990-2006. Para esto, se abordó el concepto de competitividad tomando en cuenta sus diversas definiciones y determinantes. Posteriormente se obtuvo un ranking de la evolución de la competitividad de estos sectores, utilizando para esto el Residuo de Solow. Los resultados dan cuenta de los progresos alcanzados por el sector metalmecánico del departamento del Risaralda y el relativo estancamiento del agroindustrial en el período analizado. / Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine the evolution of competitiveness in the agro sector and metal for a group of departments, including Risaralda, in the period 1990-2006. This will address the concept of competitiveness by taking into account its various definitions and determinants. Subsequently received a ranking of the evolution of the competitiveness of these sectors, using for this residue Solow.
