Se realizó bajo la metodología cualitativa y la teoría fundamentada. El análisis de los discursos se llevó a cabo a través de dos grupos focales integrados por mujeres universitarias entre 18 y 28 años. Las categorías más relevantes dentro de las narrativas fueron la violencia psicológica la cual incluye manipulaciones, actos coercitivos, intimidaciones y amenazas y la violencia online la cual involucra factores como el ciber control, monitoreo y prohibiciones, entre otras. Se concluye que la violencia de género dentro de las relaciones responde a patrones culturalmente heredados y permeados bajo el concepto de “amor romántico”, construcción social que perpetua las dinámicas violentas y las normaliza. Abstract: The objective of this research article is to identify and discuss the experiences of young university students in the city of Pereira associated with gender violence in courtship. It was carried out under the qualitative methodology and the fundamental theory. The analysis of the discourses was carried out through two focus groups made up of university women between the ages of 18 and 28. The most relevant categories within the narratives were psychological violence, which includes manipulation, coercive acts, intimidation, and threats, and online violence, which involves factors such as cyber control, monitoring, and prohibitions, among others. It is concluded that gender violence within relationships responds to culturally inherited patterns and permeated under the concept of "romantic love", a social construction that perpetuates violent dynamics and normalizes them.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
