Se diseñó un estudio cualitativo, con alcance descriptivo, y el análisis de información utilizado fue narrativo. Se desarrolló con 16 consultantes con edades entre 11 y 60 años de edad, los instrumentos fueron una encuesta y una entrevista semi estructurada. La información obtenida en la encuesta y la entrevista se categorizó y se analizó desde los elementos del self del terapeuta y supervisión clínica. Se lograron identificar 5 elementos de la supervisión clínica, siendo: el vínculo terapéutico, la relación terapéutica, el sistema terapéutico, el abordaje corporal/emocional personal y la dimensión ética, en asociación a las 8 categorías del self del terapeuta siendo estas: la amabilidad, la atención, el respeto, la confianza, la comprensión, la escucha, la paciencia y la empatía. / Abstract: This research aimed to describe the elements of clinical supervision and the self of the therapist found in the perception of consultants about therapists of the I.P.S CAPSI of the Catholic University of Pereira. A qualitative study was designed, with descriptive scope, and the analysis of information used was narrative. Developed with 16 consultants between the ages of 11 and 60, the instruments were a survey and a semi-structured interview. The information obtained in the survey and interview was categorized and analyzed from the therapist's self elements and clinical supervision. 5 elements of clinical supervision were identified, being: the therapeutic link, the therapeutic relationship, the therapeutic system, the personal body/emotional approach and the ethical dimension, in association with the 8 categories of the therapist's self being these: kindness, attention, respect, trust, understanding, listening, patience and empathy.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
