Participaron 10 personas pertenecientes a diferentes empresas de la ciudad de Pereira, con la única condición que fuesen empleados bajo la modalidad de outsourcing. Se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad y un grupo focal, utilizando un protocolo de preguntas abiertas que permitiera conocer: qué es el trabajo, qué significado y sentido tiene el trabajo, los factores de riesgo y cuáles son las consecuencias al construir sus representaciones sobre trabajo. Entre los resultados obtenidosse puede concluir que las representaciones que tienen los participante de la investigación frente al trabajo están asociadas a una centralización del trabajo como eje fundamental y estructurarte de la vida misma, a un fenómeno con un doble sentido, dado que el trabajo se presenta como fuente de bienestar y malestar, teniendo incidencia en la subjetividad de las personas. /Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to show the results of research on the social representations of a people located in the form of outsourcing, in the city of Pereira group. The study used a qualitative methodology with a hermeneutic-interpretative perspective. 10 people participated from different companies in the city of Pereira, with the only condition that were employed in the form of outsourcing. depth interviews and focus group were using a protocol that would make open questions: what work is, what meaning and point of work, risk factors and what the consequences are to build their representations of work. Among the results it can be concluded that the representations that the research participant towards work are associated with a centralization of work as fundamental and structural axis of life itself, a phenomenon with a double meaning, since the work presented as a source of comfort and discomfort, having impact on the subjectivity of people.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
