Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2015Existen diferentes opciones de solución para viviendas de interés social que se han implementado en Colombia ya que es un país con deficiencia de vivienda por familia. Aun así, los índices de calidad de vida son muy bajos ya que las características de las unidades habitacionales no cumplen en su totalidad los requerimientos para el desarrollo de la vida cotidiana de las personas. La propuesta se define como una alternativa viable y sostenible que resuelva la necesidad habitacional de los usuarios de bajos recursos. En el documento se encuentran especificadas las determinantes y problemáticas frente al planteamiento, la descripción del procedimiento proyectual y las características que lo identifican como una solución viable y eficaz a través de la sustentación detallada del funcionamiento constructivo y estructural de la unidad junto con el uso de nuevos materiales económicos, prácticos y duraderos. / Abstract: There are different options for social interest housing implemented in Colombia, due to it is a country that still has housing deficit per family. Nonetheless, the indexes of life quality are very low because the characteristics of housing units do not comply fully with the total requirements for the normal development of the daily life of people. The proposal of this work is defined as a viable and sustainable alternative to resolve the housing needs of low-income users.
