Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2009La incursión en la industria metalmecánica, con la creación de una empresa, específicamente dedicada al Diseño, fabricación y comercialización de sistemas para la arquitectura y adecuación de interiores. Utilizando principalmente materiales como vidrio, madera y acero inoxidable. Se hace con la idea de poder dar aportes en esta industria, por parte de dos jovenes emprendedores en todo lo aprendido alrededor de la carrera de diseño industrial durante el tiempo que cursaron la misma.La capacidad de poder identificar problemáticas en el sector gracias a la experiencia obtenida durante la práctica profesional, y además de eso tener bases sólidas para proponer soluciones propicias y oportunas, se traducen en la idea de poder diseñar un sistema propio de embalaje para el transporte de piezas de vidrio y acero inoxidable, desde la empresa a crear (VIMAC), hasta los lugares de traslación de los elementos terminados.Todo esto con el único fin de poder incursionar en el mercado con ventajas competitivas ante la competencia, y poder reflejar todos estos aportes del Diseño Industrial en beneficios para la empresa./Abstract: The foray into the metalworking industry, with the creation of a company specifically dedicated to the design, manufacture and marketing of systems for architecture and interior adaptation. Using mainly materials such as glass, wood and stainless steel. It is done with the idea of being able to give contributions in this industry, by two young entrepreneurs in everything they learned about the industrial design career during the time they studied it. The ability to identify problems in the sector thanks to the experience obtained during professional practice, and in addition to that having solid bases to propose appropriate and timely solutions, translate into the idea of being able to design our own packaging system for the transport of glass and stainless steel pieces, from the company to create (VIMAC), to the places of translation of the finished elements.
