The intention of this review article is to collect research made about neurobiological alterations of dopamine that underlie in the motivation and emotional dysfunctions present by adults with ADHD, it is recognized the importance of semantic market in the understanding of hyperactivity.El déficit de atención con hiperactividad (TDAH) es un trastorno con alteraciones cerebrales cognoscitivas y afectivas, tanto motivacionales como emocionales. Se sabe que el cerebro de personas con TDAH no produce la misma cantidad de dopamina que las personas sin el trastorno. Este artículo pretende recopilar investigaciones sobre las alteraciones neurobiológicas de la dopamina que subyacen a las disfunciones motivacionales y emocionales presentadas por los adultos con TDAH.
