| Summary: | This document examines the situation of the municipality of Santa Rosa de Cabal, based on the revision of its productive, organizational and institutional potentials from which it can boost an endogenous local development process. It is found that the key actions for that purpose are summarized in the use of its identity and the coffee culture the municipality possess, the strengthening of partnership and the expansion of training opportunities for its population. Starting from the first thing it can leverage a project of added value incorporation to its main agricultural product, using the appellation of origin; the subject of associativity is essential for the consolidation of a specialty coffee program and the agro-industrial development of banana, blackberry and lulo; and work training for a pending agenda in advancing for the competitiveness task of activities such as tourism and the management. |
