Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sociales y de la Educación, Pereira, 2011El presente trabajo tuvo como finalidad determinar el índice de la presencia de sintomatología ansiosa depresiva o mixta (Trastornos Adaptativos), en un grupo de 20 mujeres diagnosticadas con cáncer de mama y tratamiento oncológico en la institución Oncólogos del Occidente S.A. Las cuales se encuentran en un rango de edad entre los 40 y 75 años de edad. Para esto se aplicó la Escala Hospitalaria de Ansiedad y Depresión (HAD), Con el objetivo de conocer por medio de éste si había presencia de sintomatología de algún tipo de trastorno adaptativo ansioso, depresivo o mixto, y cómo complemento se realizó una entrevista Semi-Estructurada, para indagar aspectos socio-demográficos, tales como: la edad, estado civil, escolaridad, estrato socio-económico, red de apoyo, el diagnóstico y el Estadio. Con el fin de indagar posibles relaciones entre dichas categorías con la sintomatología ansiosa depresiva o ambas. Una vez analizada la información recolectada se constató la presencia de sintomatología ansiosa, depresiva o ambos (Trastornos Adaptativos) en las pacientes con cáncer de seno, siendo predominante el trastorno ansioso. /Abstract: The present study aimed to determine the index of the presence of depressive or mixed symptoms of anxiety (Adjustment Disorder). A group of 20 women diagnosed with breast cancer and cancer treatment in the institution of Oncólogos del Occidente S.A Which are in an age range between 40 and 75 years of age. For this we applied the Scale Hospital Anxiety and Depression (HAD) In order to know through this if there was presence of symptoms of adjustment disorder any anxious, depressed or mixed, and in addition there was a Semi-Structured Interview To investigate socio-demographic aspects, such as age, marital status, education, socio-economic strata, network support, diagnosis and staging.
