Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Administrativas, Pereira, 2018.El Hospital Departamental de Cartago ha mantenido desde su creación como Empresa Social del Estado, unas falencias de tipo administrativo y financiero como son (deficiencia en los procesos de liderazgo, malos canales de comunicación en las distintas dependencias entre ellas las ares de facturación y cartera, cambios frecuentes en la distinta normatividad nacional, exclusión de la red pública de prestadores de servicios de salud por parte de la Secretaria Departamental, deficiencias en los presupuestos de ingresos y gastos para cada vigencia, ineficiente gestión de recaudo por los servicios prestados a las diferentes Empresas promotoras de salud y demás entidades) que condujeron a su liquidación en el año 2015, al verse afectada su estabilidad financiera como entidad hospitalaria de segundo nivel del departamento del valle del cauca. Abstract: The Departmental Hospital of Cartago has maintained since its creation as a Social Enterprise of the State, some administrative and financial flaws such as (deficiency in the leadership processes, bad communication channels in the different dependencies, among them the billing and portfolio ares, frequent changes in the different national regulations, exclusion of the public network of providers of health services by the Departmental Secretariat, deficiencies in the budgets of income and expenses for each term, inefficient management of collection for the services provided to the different Companies promoters of health and other entities) that led to its liquidation in 2015, as its financial stability was affected as a second-tier hospital entity in the department of Valle del Cauca.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
