Para llevar a cabo este objetivo, se implementó el estudio de casos como metodología de investigación en el contexto de un grupo de madres de familia del Jardín Infantil La Casa del Saber de Dosquebradas. Las categorías fueron: dibujos animados y compasión. Se utilizaron tres técnicas de investigación: análisis de contenido de los productos generados por talleres vivenciales, observación natural a través de un diario de campo y dos encuestas con preguntas abiertas y cerradas dirigidas a los padres participantes. Estas técnicas permitieron obtener datos cuantitativos y cualitativos que se complementaron y contrastaron entre sí. Los resultados indican que las preguntas directas realizadas durante los talleres tuvieron un impacto positivo en las madres de familia. Como conclusión, se puede afirmar que las madres confirman la importancia de la gestión emocional y de estar informadas sobre los contenidos multimedia, para analizar de manera crítica lo que sus hijos van a visualizar en su vida cotidiana a través de las plataformas digitales y medios de comunicación. Abstract: This article focuses on determining the parents' perception of their children's compassion in relation to the cartoons they watch in their daily lives. To carry out this objective, the case study was implemented as a research methodology in the context of a group of mothers from the La Casa del Saber Kindergarten in Dosquebradas. The categories were: cartoons and compassion. Three research techniques were used: content analysis of the products generated by experiential workshops, natural observation through a field diary, and two surveys with open and closed questions addressed to participating parents. These techniques allowed obtaining quantitative and qualitative data that complemented and contrasted each other. The results indicate that the direct questions asked during the workshops had a positive impact on the mothers of the family. In conclusion, it can be stated that mothers confirm the importance of emotional management and of being informed about multimedia content, in order to critically analyze what their children are going to see in their daily lives through digital platforms and media. communicationUniversidad Católica de Pereira.
