Facultad de Ciencias Básicas e Ingeniería, Pereira, 2009El sistema de gestión documental para el departamento de prácticas profesionales (sgddpp) de la Universidad Católica Popular del Risaralda (UCPR) permite a los practicantes, tutores, organizaciones y personal administrativo disponer en forma inmediata de gran parte de la información producida en la dependencia. Su implementación se estructura como un apoyo para los diferentes actores que intervienen en las tareas generadas por el desarrollo de una práctica profesional, contribuyendo de esta forma en la optimización de los procesos asociados a la toma de decisiones relacionadas con la ubicación, seguimiento y evaluación de los practicantes. El sistema está compuesto por seis módulos (practicante, prácticas, tutores, organizaciones, jefes inmediatos y lectores) cada uno de ellos asociados a un rol y sus respectivas tareas particulares dentro del proceso de la práctica. Dentro de las labores que se pueden llevar a cabo se encuentran la administración de los diferentes tipos de usuario, su seguimiento, consulta y modificación, entre otras. El elemento clave para realizar las consultas en el aplicativo es el documento de identidad del practicante, mediante el cual se podrá tener acceso a toda la información relacionada con los procesos asociados a su práctica. El aplicativo es una herramienta útil tanto para las organizaciones que emplean a los estudiantes de la Universidad como para los practicantes, ya que les permite estar en contacto directo con el departamento a través de una plataforma Web, evitando los inconvenientes asociados a los elementos geográficos y temporales, configurándose como una solución ideal para quienes no se encuentran en la ciudad o poseen una agenda muy ocupada. Es por esto que la realización del SGDDPP tiene un gran impacto no solo en el Departamento de Prácticas Profesionales de la Universidad, sino también dentro de la comunidad estudiantil Uceperiana que en algún momento representativo y culminante de su carrera realizará su práctica y necesitará hacer uso de él./Abstract: The Documentary Management System of the Professional Practice Department (SGDDPP) of the UCPR enables practitioners, tutors, administrative staff and organizations to immediately provide much of the information produced in the unit. Its implementation is structured as a support for the various actors involved in the work generated by the development of a professional practice, thus helping to optimize the processes involved in making decisions related to location, monitoring and evaluation practitioners. The system is conforming for five modules (practitioner, practice, tutors, organizations and immediate supervisors) each associated with one role and their particular tasks within the process of practice. Among the tasks that can be carried out are the administration of the different types of users, monitoring, consultation and modification, among others. The key element for the queries in the application is the identity of the practitioner, which may have access to all information related to processes associated with its practice. The application is a useful tool for organizations that employ students from the University and for the practitioners, enabling them to be in direct contact with the department through a Web platform, avoiding the drawbacks associated with the geographical and time, becoming an ideal solution for those who are not in the city or have a busy agenda.
