Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, Sociales y de la Educación, Pereira, 2018.El consumo problemático de drogas ha tenido un aumento en la población mundial, por lo tanto resulta un tema de estudio relevante, aún más cuando se parte de los lineamientos de género, interesándose en las particularidades de las mujeres, cuestión que ha sido un poco olvidada a la hora de brindar tratamiento para las conductas adictivas. Por lo cual se realizó un estudio cualitativo que tiene por objetivo comprender los significados sobre el consumo de drogas que tiene un grupo de mujeres de la fundación Hogares Claret- Hogar Arco iris de la ciudad de Pereira. Se realizaron 14 entrevistas semi-estructuradas a jóvenes que estaban en tratamiento de rehabilitación y la orientación metodológica se hizo desde la teoría fundamentada. Los resultados parten de 8 categorías con las cuales se comprende el significado de la población estudiada. \ Abstract: Problematic drug use has had an increase in the world population, therefore it is a relevant topic of study, even more so when starting from the gender guidelines, taking an interest in the particularities of women, an issue that has been forgotten to provide treatment for addictive behaviors. Therefore, a qualitative study was conducted with the objective of understanding meanings about the drugs use in a women's group of the Fundación Hogares Claret- Hogar Arco iris in the Pereira city. Fourteen semi-structured interviews were carried out with young people who were in rehabilitation treatment and the methodological orientation was based on grounded theory.
