Es una investigación de corte cualitativo, transversal y de tipo descriptiva, la cual se llevó a cabo por medio de la metodología narrativa permitiendo analizar un fenómeno en concreto. Para el análisis de la información se empleó la estrategia de codificación donde se le designa conceptos a fracciones de las entrevistas, en segundo lugar, se agruparon en categorías como lo son: violencia psicológica, verbal, física, online, bidireccional, situacional, coercitiva, maltrato pasivo, fase de luna de miel, relaciones de poder y comunicación pasivo – agresiva. Es un fenómeno poco visibilizado y estudiado, ya que se ha ido estableciendo en las relaciones cotidianas, de manera imperceptible y silenciosa. Entre los resultados más importantes se encontró que la violencia psicológica, online y bidireccional está presente en todas las relaciones de noviazgo, en dos de las parejas se perpetúa las agresiones físicas y se evidenció que las estrategias para el manejo del conflicto predicen la percepción de la violencia. Abstract: This is the summary in English: This research project aims to give an account through the narratives about bidirectional violence in the courtship of young people between 17 and 25 years old in the cities of Pereira and Cartago, both offline and online. It is a qualitative, cross-sectional and descriptive research, which was carried out using narrative methodology, allowing analysis of a specific phenomenon. For the analysis of the information, the coding strategy was used where concepts were designated to fractions of the interviews. Secondly, they were grouped into categories such as: psychological, verbal, physical, online, bidirectional, situational, coercive violence, passive abuse, honeymoon phase, power relations and passive - aggressive communication. It is a phenomenon little visible and studied, since it has been established in daily relationships, imperceptibly and silently. Among the most important results, it was found that psychological, online and bidirectional violence is present in all couples, in two of the couples physical aggressions are perpetuated and it was shown that the strategies for conflict management predict the perception of Violence.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
