Metodología: Se evaluaron 20 individuos con SD, 10 con TEA y 10 con desarrollo típico, entre los 8 a 20 años, aplicando el Protocolo Rápido de Evaluación Pragmática Revisado. Resultados: Existen diferencias significativas entre el lenguaje pragmático de los sujetos con SD y TEA con las personas en desarrollo típico, diferencias en el nivel enunciativo, nivel textual y nivel interactivo. Discusión: El porcentaje de discapacidad de los individuos del presente estudio tiene relación directa con los problemas en el lenguaje pragmático, debido alteraciones en la memoria verbal y en la teoría de la mente que dificulta comprender enunciados./ Abstract: Objective: Make a comparison of pragmatic language in people with Down syndrome (DS) and autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). Methodology: 20 individuals with DS, 10 with ASD and 10 with typical development, between 8 and 20 years old were evaluated. The Rapid Protocol for Revised Pragmatic Evaluation (PREP-R) was applied. Results: Significant differences were found between the pragmatic language in subjects with DS, ASD with typical development subjects, differences are at the enunciative level, textual level and interactive level.
