| Summary: | The following lines show the preliminary study results of the art state in environmental management framework systems performed within the research project "Characterization of Environmental Management Systems, and Integration Processes with a Cleaner Production (CP) made in medium and large companies of the manufacturing sector located in Pereira Dosquebradas ". At the end of the information-collecting process this study concluded that only sizeable firms integrate formal environmental systems in their organizations, and an average percentage of these companies applied techniques or strategies of PML. However, this study also reveals that very few companies integrated the Environmental Management Systems with cleaner production processes. |
