Allí se encuentra un espacio que se ha configurado a partir de los primeros asentamientos de la cultura precolombina dando lugar a la primera industria de Sal de Pereira, la cual fue relegada posteriormente por el desarrollo paulatino de otras técnicas de extracción. Este lugar es de gran relevancia por sus elementos hidrográficos, biodiversidad, cultura, historia y geografía, sin embargo, con el paso del tiempo se fueron generando problemáticas de constante deterioro de las fuentes hídricas, eje ambiental y destrucción de los vestigios arqueológicos del lugar. Razón por la cual el análisis de información primaria y secundaria permite presentar una alternativa para la revitalización del Salado de Consotá a través del proyecto arquitectónico Centro de interpretación ambiental, permitiendo el aprovechamiento de las potencialidades del lugar y su posibilidad de articulación con los equipamientos públicos existentes. Abstract: This research presents the results of the diagnosis made in the Salado de Consota, in the municipality of Pereira. There is a space that has been configured from the first settlements of pre-Columbian culture giving rise to the first industry of Sal de Pereira, which was later relegated by the gradual development of other extraction techniques. This place is of great relevance for its hydrographic elements, biodiversity, culture, history and geography, however, over time problems of constant deterioration of water sources, environmental axis and destruction of the archaeological remains of the place. This is why the analysis of primary and secondary information allows presenting an alternative for the revitalization of the Salado de Consotá through the architectural project Centro de interpretation environmental, allowing the use of potentialities of the place and its possibility of articulation with existing public facilities.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
