Es por ello que surge esta propuesta investigativa con un enfoque mixto y cuenta con los criterios propios de una investigación descriptiva. Su objetivo principal fue el identificar la influencia que tienen las redes sociales en el desarrollo de la inteligencia espiritual de los estudiantes de noveno grado de un colegio confesional de la ciudad de Armenia. Se aplicaron dos cuestionarios, el primero aplicado a 15 estudiantes, como instrumento diagnóstico de la realidad a intervenir y el otro aplicado a 5 estudiantes, como instrumento de evaluación de la eficacia de la estrategia propuesta. Los resultados del primer cuestionario evidencian la distancia que manejan los jóvenes respecto a lo espiritual y el uso constante de redes sociales, mismas que siendo bien enfocadas permiten aportar al desarrollo de la inteligencia espiritual en los jóvenes, tal como lo evidencia la evaluación de la intervención. Se concluye así que el hacer uso de las redes sociales como canal de comunicación de temas relacionados con la inteligencia espiritual se captan de manera más oportuna la atención y el interés de los jóvenes, consiguiendo así aportar a su formación integral. Abstract: There are aspects in common between adolescents and young people, in the face of the spiritual or religious to show a certain apathy, young people today tend to demand that the information provided to them have a real applicability in their lives, the constant use of social networks as a tool for interaction or fun. That is why this research proposal arises with a mixed approach and has the criteria of a descriptive investigation. Its main objective was to identify the influence that social networks have on the development of spiritual intelligence of ninth grade students of a confessional school in the city of Armenia. Two questionnaires were applied, the first applied to 15 students, as a diagnostic instrument of the reality to be intervened, and the other applied to 5 students, as an instrument for evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed strategy. The results of the first questionnaire show the distance that young people manage regarding the spiritual and the constant use of social networks, which, being well focused, allow contributing to the development of spiritual intelligence in young people, as evidenced by the evaluation of the intervention. . Thus, it is concluded that making use of social networks as a communication channel for issues related to spiritual intelligence captures the attention and interest of young people in a more timely manner, thus contributing to their integral formation.Universidad Catolica de Pereira.
