This article aims to explain the validation of a model, which considered as a methodology, has been proposed to improve the quality of the process and the product in the Colombian software industry, which has been developed by MSMEs. Some of the methodological, procedural and evaluative aspects that have been developed and applied to validate the proposal, as well as the main results of the process, are presented in this paper. Such validation consists on the development of a group of software applications in certain sectors: education, services, industry, and trade; in which the development and management guidelines given by the model could be applied. After fi nishing them, its quality is compared to other analogous products in its functioning, which have been developed using another methodology or without applying any of them, so that the eff ectiveness or ineff ectiveness of the new model could be compared and concluded. |

Se presentan entonces en este documento algunos de los aspectos metodológicos, procedimentales y evaluativos que han sido desarrollados y aplicados para validar la propuesta, así como los principales resultados obtenidos del proceso. La validación consiste en el desarrollo de un grupo de aplicativos software en algunos sectores: educación, servicios, industria y comercio, en los cuales se empleen los lineamientos de desarrollo y gestión propuestos por el modelo. Una vez terminados los mismos, se compara su calidad con productos análogos en su funcionamiento que hayan sido desarrollados aplicando otra metodología, o sin aplicar ninguna de ellas, de tal forma que se pueda concluir sobre la efectividad o no del nuevo modelo.O presente artigo pretende dar conta da validade de um modelo, que em forma de metodología, foi proposto pra as micro, pequenas e medianas empresas (MIPÍMENOS) da indústria do software colombiana pra melhoram a qualidade do processo e do produto. E apresentado neste documento, alguns dos aspectos metodológicos, processuais procedentes e avaliadores que foram desenvolvidos e aplicados para validar a proposta, assim como os principais resultados obtenidos do processo. La validación consiste em desenvolvimento de um grupo de aplicativos software em alguns sectores: educação, servicios, industria e comércio; em el quais se empregam os lineamentos de desenvolvimento e gestão propuestos para o modelo.
