Se empleó el enfoque de investigación evaluativa y para la recolección de la información se realizaron grupos focales con distintos actores educativos del centro mencionado. Los resultados indican que la institución, dentro de la construcción curricular y los lineamientos expuestos desde el PEI se acoge a las directrices. Además, esta tiene debidamente conformado el gobierno escolar y su manual de convivencia se encuentra acorde con las necesidades del colegio. También se encontró que, en concertación con los docentes, la comunidad, los padres de familia y algunos estamentos externos como los comuneros, el SENA, la Secretaría de Educación Municipal y el Instituto de Bienestar Familiar, se generan proyectos y estrategias que contribuyen a mejorar la participación y la convivencia. No obstante, lo anterior, al detallar en profundidad, no se registra una participación real y efectiva de estudiantes y de la mayoría de los padres de familia en este proceso, y se plantea de su parte que es necesario mejorar las estrategias de comunicación y participación amplias entre los miembros de la comunidad educativa, lo cual hace que se genere un marco de duda sobre la implementación de la gestión de la comunidad más allá del cumplimiento de referentes establecidos./ Abstract: The present text derives from the research work that has as name Análisis de la Gestión de la Comunidad en el Megacolegio Bernardo López Pérez de Dosquebradas-Risaralda, which goal raised to assess the implementation of the participation and coexistence processes defined by the Ministerio de Educación Nacional in the area of community management in the educational institution. It was used the evaluative research approach, and for the collection of the information, it was conducted focus groups with the different educational stakeholders of the mentioned center. The results indicate that the institution, within the curricula construction, and the guidelines exposed in the PEI, complies the legal guidelines. Additionally, it has properly conformed the school government, and its educational community handbook is accorded with the school needs. In addition, it was found that, in cooperation with the teachers, community, parents, and some external organizations as well as the communards, the SENA, the Secretaría de Educación Municipal, and the Instituto de Bienestar Familiar, it was generated projects and strategies that contribute to the improvement of the participation and coexistence. However, notwithstanding the above and detailing in depth, there is not register of a real and effective participation from the students and from the majority of the parents in this process, and it was raised the need of improving the communication and participation strategies between the members of the educational community.
