Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2018El diseño social como estrategia hacia el fortalecimiento para el artesano “cestero” de la ciudad de Santa Rosa de Cabal, es la muestra visible que el Diseño Industrial puede fusionarse con cualquier saber y hacer, es la aplicación metodológica del diseño social que logra vincular el artesano, sus perspectivas, proyecciones y objetivos desde un ejercicio orientador hacia el proceso de creación de nuevos artefactos, teniendo en cuenta el diseño participativo para aplicar sus habilidades en la creación de productos diferentes que se puedan desarrollar a través de la técnica ancestral de tejido con fibra natural. Por medio de metodologías de diseño, se plantea la problemática y las posibles soluciones, teniendo en cuenta unos estudios tipológicos para la culminación del proyecto. / Abstract: The social design as a strategy towards strengthening the artisan "cestero" of the city of Santa Rosa de Cabal, is the visible sign that the Industrial Design can merge with any knowledge and do, is the methodological application of social design that manages to link the artisan, his perspectives, projections and objectives from a guiding exercise towards the process of creation of new artifacts, taking into account the participatory design to apply his skills in the creation of different products that can be developed through the ancestral technique of weaving with natural fiber By means of design methodologies, the problem and the possible solutions are considered, taking into account some typological studies for the culmination of the project.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
