La propuesta busca responder a los criterios relacionados a la investigación cultural, histórica y social de la comunidad indígena Emberá Chami, con la finalidad de identificar cómo se ha transformado el hábitat de este grupo étnico a partir de dicho conflicto y cuáles de sus tradiciones aún se conservan, dando como resultado un diagnóstico que dé solución a las nuevas necesidades y que propicien la conservación cultural, permitiendo generar estrategias que contribuyan a este planteamiento de la vivienda sostenible implementando mecanismo de ahorro de energía, de agua y reutilización de residuos orgánicos, además de emplear materiales y sistemas constructivos de la zona, así como también la implementación y desarrollo del pre-dimensionamiento estructural y su respectivo presupuesto, que justifique y respalde las metas que se quieren desarrollar con la certeza de un óptimo control y desarrollo de la vivienda. /Abstract: The purpose of the development of this document is to give an approach to the approach to sustainable housing for the Emberá Chami community in the Suratena Reservation located in the municipality of Marsella, Risaralda, which responds to a problem based on the armed conflict that has left multiple displacements for this culture and that has been forced to give rise to new settlements, conditioning them to new forms of life and new challenges generated by their environment, their physiological and morphological characteristics.
