Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Administrativas, Pereira, 2019Las oportunidades que trae la ubicación de una zona franca en la actualidad y con la globalización del comercio y la libre economía son innumerables, ya sea por la ubicación estratégica en cuanto a la disponibilidad logística, los beneficios para los mercados o simplemente por los beneficios económicos y tributarios que incorporan para los diferentes grupos económicos atraídos por la oferta. Para empezar se hace una presentación del municipio de Obando, donde se identifican algunos elementos que generan atractivos para los inversionistas, posteriormente se analizará las oportunidades que las zonas francas brindan al desarrollo económico del municipio, pasando por beneficios en el aumento de la mano de obra, la oferta de productos del municipio y finalmente los aspectos tributarios. \ Abstract: The opportunities that the location of a free zone brings today and with the globalization of trade and free economy are innumerable, either because of the strategic location in terms of logistics availability, the benefits for the markets or simply for the economic benefits and tributaries that incorporate for the different economic groups attracted by the offer.
