| Summary: | This document is the result of a descriptive approach to the most important elements that show the economy of AMCO ( Area metropolitana centro occidente) and of the municipality of Pereira. This is part of a wider work done by the group of investigation « economical growth and social development. In the study are approached the main elements that determine the economical structure. The first part is about the gross internal product behavior, its growth dynamic and its perspectives in the short and medium term. In the second part the economical structure is presented and finally as a conclusion the economical structure is analyzed. The investigation group hopes to contribute to the knowledge and understanding of the regional reality. |
