Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2007Los Kioscos Interactivos de Auto Consulta, son unos componentes tecnológicos que constituidos por pantallas sensibles al tacto deben ser ubicados en lugares públicos estratégicos, con el propósito de permitir a los usuarios, acceder una enorme cantidad de información sin necesidad de utilizar un mouse o un teclado. Estos sirven para proporcionar información de todo tipo, según las especificaciones particulares de quien lo posea, en forma ágil implicando una relación hombre – máquina en la que intervienen aspectos ergonómicos, antropométricos, cognoscitivos, así como los correspondientes a la forma, estructura, funcionalidad y todas sus implicaciones, para que el sistema en su conjunto funcione adecuadamente y cumpla con su propósito. En la ciudad de Pereira existen algunos ubicados en varios lugares de la ciudad, los cuales van desde pequeños sistemas con lectores de códigos de barras, hasta elementos ya más complejos en hardware, software así como en contenidos informativos. Uno se encuentra en el Aeropuerto Internacional Matecaña, otro en las instalaciones de la Gobernación de Risaralda, en el Centro Comercial La 14, y hasta el pasado mes de marzo, funcionó uno en el Centro Comercial Regional Victoria. Es importante, en el momento de adentrarse en esta clase de proyectos, el tener claro un método de investigación, que en lo posible trate de ser objetivo, en un marco de interpretaciones, descripciones y observación. Lo planteado en este proyecto tuvo en cuenta las reacciones que la población presenta al encontrarse ante el artefacto, así como sus opiniones al respecto. Al final, el producto que se obtuvo logró llamar la atención del público en forma positiva (No fue un público masivo sino una pequeña porción), y se tuvo éxito al lograr una propuesta agradable visualmente, amigable con el usuario y por tanto, con muy buenas posibilidades de ser usado en el entorno./ Abstract: Interactive Self-Consultation Kiosks are technological components that, made up of touch-sensitive screens, must be located in strategic public places, with the purpose of allowing users to access a huge amount of information without the need to use a mouse or a computer. keyboard. These serve to provide information of all kinds, according to the particular specifications of those who possess it, in an agile way, implying a man-machine relationship in which ergonomic, anthropometric, cognitive aspects intervene, as well as those corresponding to the form, structure, functionality and all its implications, so that the system as a whole works properly and fulfills its purpose. In the city of Pereira there are some located in various parts of the city, which range from small systems with bar code readers, to elements already more complex in hardware, software as well as in information content. One is located in the Matecaña International Airport, another in the Risaralda Government facilities, in the La 14 Shopping Center, and until last March, one was in the Victoria Regional Shopping Center. It is important, at the time of entering this kind of projects, having a clear research method, trying to be objective as far as possible, within a framework of interpretations, descriptions and observation. What was proposed in this project took into account the reactions that the population presents when they find themselves before the artifact, as well as their opinions about it.
