Se encuentra plástico en los envases, la ropa, los edificios, los dispositivos médicos, los coches, los móviles, etc. Su costo es relativamente bajo y gracias a su composición y maleabilidad pueden tomar diferentes formas y tamaños; de allí su que su tasa de uso sea elevada. Por lo anterior, en este proyecto se realizó un estudio para determinar la factibilidad para la creación de una empresa de reciclaje de desechos plásticos en la ciudad de Pereira, que transforme los desechos de material PET (Polietileno-Tereftalato) en nuevas botellas para la venta; para esto se deben abordar las diferentes variables que ayuden a medir la rentabilidad futura, entre estos se encuentra un estudio de mercados, el cual se realiza para identificar entre otros, el comportamiento de la oferta y la demanda, así como para definir la demanda insatisfecha en el sector; también se realiza un estudio técnico que permite establecer el tamaño, localización y la ingeniería del proyecto; de la misma forma se establece un estudio administrativo, legal y ambiental que determina los procesos necesarios en la empresa, y finalmente se realiza un estudio financiero que ayuda a determinar la viabilidad del proyecto para los inversionistas en un horizonte a (5) años. Los clientes potenciales a quienes va dirigido el producto propuesto son las pequeñas y medianas empresas para el envase de productos químicos y de aseo; además se garantiza la tecnología adecuada, la asesoría de ventas necesaria, el servicio al cliente óptimo y unas funciones administrativas sólidas.\ Abstract: Nowadays products made of plastic are used for life be more clean, easier, safer and nice. It find plastic in containers, clothing, buildings, medical devices, cars, cellphones, etc. It cost is relatively low and thanks to the composition and the malleability it can take different shapes and sizes; that’s why its usage rage its high. For the above, in this project was done a study to decide the feasibility for the creation of a recycling plastic waste in the city of Pereira, that transform the PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) material waste in new containers for sale; for this it must approach the different variables that help to measure profitability in the future, among these it can find a market study, which is done to identify among others, the behavior of demand and offer, and to define the dissatisfied demand as well in the sector; also a technical study was done to allow to establish size, location and project engineering; in the same way an administrative, legal and environmental study was done to determinate the necessary processes in the company, and finally a financial study was done to help determine the viability of the project for investors in five (5) years horizon.
