Context and the diversity of objects in it are indispensable in many ways for industrial designers, since they are a means of communication for individuals, societies and cultures. Context and the plurality of subjects are also a source of possibilities, restrictions and requirements that permit designers to create objects that are the direct result of a logical process accepted by society.Conocer las características de los artefactos y su importancia en el entorno, es hacer referencia a todos aquellos aspectos tanto estructurales como funcionales que los componen. De esta manera las funciones básicas del Diseño, Estético-Formal, Simbólico-Comunicativa, y la función Práctica nos permiten entender globalmente cada uno de los objetos que nos circundan, ampliando nuestras maneras de pensar, sentir y vivir frente a este mundo objetual que nos rodea.
