Pereira, 2021La innovación en el campo colombiano, siempre ha sido objeto debate en el país, no solo por la resistencia que frente a ella puedan tener los mismos miembros del sector, sino por la falta de ayuda y participación de las autoridades gubernamentales para llevarla a cabo. Sin embargo, esa es la realidad, a la que no escapa el sector cafetero, que frente a este panorama, ha optado en la última década, por buscar alternativas que le permitan cumplir con sus expectativas como caficultores eficientes, con calidad, y mayor producción a precios competitivos. Haciendo uso de las nuevas tecnologías y técnicas de la agroindustria, en el municipio risaraldense de Belén de Umbría, ha estado incursionando en la implementación de dichos avances en su ecosistema de producción tanto en el proceso como en su organización. Palabras clave: Innovación, economía solidaria, caficultura, Risaralda. /Abstract: Innovation in the Colombian countryside has always been the subject of debate in the country, not only because of the resistance that the same members of the sector may have in front of it, but also because of the lack of help and participation of the government authorities to carry it out. However, that is the reality, which doesn´t escape the coffee sector, which faced with this scenario, has chosen in the last decade, to seek alternatives that allow it to meet its expectations as efficient coffee growers, with quality, and greater production at competitive prices.
