Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2019En este estudio se examina el rol que juegan las personas afrodescendientes que residen en el área metropolitana C.O (centro occidente), en el municipio de Pereira, a causa de la ubicación de los asentamientos informales y las poblaciones que allí habitan. Se genera un ‘’plan estratégico de desarrollo integral para comunidades desplazadas negras e indígenas’’, y por ende desarrollar pautas para el fortalecimiento y la recuperación, no solo de los asentamientos, sino también, para ayudar a consolidar el centro urbano y cualificar las periferias, para así establecer un límite de crecimiento y por ende aclarar los mecanismos de control sobre la misma. Esto se permitirá a través de una serie de espacios comunitarios (equipamientos) a los cuales se les asignan diferentes características, según el sector y la caracterización del lugar donde se ubican en dicho plan estratégico; para el cual se plantea un centro de integral para el fortalecimiento de las cadenas productivas de la cultura afrodescendiente, que esté relacionado con los alimentos y las formas de preparación, ubicado en el sector de la Dulcera, la comuna San Nicolás de la ciudad de Pereira. ABSTRACT: This study examines the role played by people of African descent who reside in the metropolitan area C.O (center west), in the municipality of Pereira, because of the location of informal settlements and the populations that live there. Given these implications, a "strategic plan of integral development for black and indigenous displaced communities" is generated to develop guidelines for the strengthening and recovery, not only of the settlements, but also, to help consolidate the urban center and to qualify the peripheries, in order to establish a growth limit and some control mechanism over it.
