El comercio de estos productos con USA fueron los datos seleccionados para el análisis mediante un modelo macroeconómico de ecuaciones simultáneas que utiliza el enfoque 3SLS (Three-stage least squares). Los resultados revelan que en la determinación de la demanda los ingresos del principal socio comercial y los precios que miden la competitividad tienen un papel significativo en la determinación del rendimiento de las exportaciones de esta industria. Del lado de la oferta, la variable de capacidad interna, la implementación de acuerdos comerciales y el efecto rentabilidad son determinantes en la participación de estos productos en el exterior.\ Abstract: The present study analyzes the determinants of the demand and supply of exports of the products of the textile industry-confections of Colombia, using data of series of time for the period 2005-2015. The trade of these products with USA has been selected for the analysis by means of a macroeconomic model of simultaneous equations that uses the 3SLS (Three-stage least squares) approach. The results reveal that in the determination of demand, the income of the main trading partner and the prices that measure competitiveness play a significant role in determining the export performance of this industry.
