Esto teniendo en cuenta las diferentes investigaciones que se citan a lo largo del documento y que demuestran la relevancia que a nivel global ha tenido el capital intangible como factor generador de valor y de competitividad para las compañías en mercados cada vez más exigentes y dinámicos. Inicialmente se realizó una aproximación teórica al concepto del capital intangible para posteriormente contextualizar la temática tanto a nivel global como a nivel regional. La metodología cualitativa emplea la técnica de entrevista de la información recolectada del estudio. Dicha investigación se realizó en una reconocida empresa del Eje Cafetero, lo cual permitió identificar si el capital intangible desarrollado por esta organización había contribuido a generar ventajas competitivas, y cómo esta organización ha logrado materializar estas ventajas.The purpose of this research was to analyze the contributions of intangible assets as a source of value generation, differentiation and competitiveness in companies.
