Surge con el propósito de entender las nuevas teorías de ocupación del suelo rural para llevar a cabo una propuesta arquitectónica como propósito final. El tema nace de las necesidades que tienen las personas de la tercera edad en zona rural del Municipio de Balboa más precisamente en la vereda tambores, con llevando a investigar sobre cuales han sido las causas de abandono de dicha población que allí habita y cambiar la manera de ver al adulto mayor. Esta investigación comprende un desarrollo progresivo de diferentes etapas que inicia con la recopilación y sistematización de la información existente en el área de estudio desde las diferentes categorías. Posterior a ello se implementó una metodología de análisis por categorías que permitiera reconocer y comprender el territorio para lograr en la tercera etapa elaborar una herramienta que permitiera reconocer, administrar la información recopilada del territorio mediante un documento técnico de soporte (DTS) y en la última estancia llegar al desarrollo de los lineamientos y estrategias establecidos desde para la intervención del territorio y el desarrollo de proyectos.
