De tipo cuantitativo- no experimental y diseño de investigación descriptivo-transversal. Participaron siete adolescentes con cáncer diagnosticados entre seis meses y un año, que asisten a su tratamiento oncológico en dos IPS de la ciudad de Pereira, Colombia. Para el desarrollo de la investigación, se utilizó la escala de adherencia al tratamiento del cáncer (EATC) creada por Villalba (2014), la escala de autoeficacia general de Baessler y Schwarcer, (1996) en Grimaldo (2005), el cuestionario de desenlaces médicos de Apoyo Social (MOS) elaborado por Sherbourne y Stewart, (1991), traducida y adaptada en Colombia por Londoño, et al (2012) y el protocolo para padres de niños con cáncer Aschner et al (2002) en Alcocer y Ballesteros (2005),instrumentos apoyados con la aplicación de una entrevista semi-estructurada al personal de salud. Los participantes cuentan con recursos individuales de autoeficacia, recursos ambientales de apoyo social y cumplen con su tratamiento médico. /Abstract: This study described the characteristics of adherence to treatment, self-efficacy and perceived social support in oncologic adolescents. Non-experimental design and quantitative-descriptive transversal investigation. They participated seven adolescent cancer diagnosed between six months and one year, attending his cancer treatment in two IPS city of Pereira, Colombia.
