At first, it seemed like a spontaneous birth, but in fact it took many years of incubation through the alternate exercises that the swiss master maintained through painting and sculpture, especially by a concept that he called the ‘acoustic form’ phenomenon, which was related to forms that were put in close relation with the surrounding space.La Capilla de Ronchamp se originó en una de las primeras visitas de Le Corbusier al lugar. Se trató de un nacimiento que parecía espontáneo, pero que en realidad llevaba muchos años de incubación a través de los ejercicios alternos que el maestro suizo mantenía en la pintura y la escultura, en especial de un concepto que denominó como el fenómeno de la ‘forma acústica’, el cual en resumen consistía en formas que se ponían en estrecha relación con el espacio circundante. De igual manera la Capilla surgió como una respuesta al lugar; sus formas se deben a las impresiones del paisaje sobre el edificio y a la vez la iglesia se proyecta sobre el entorno, estableciendo un diálogo permanente entre arquitectura y naturaleza. Este escrito refiere el proceso en que se concibió la Capilla, y las influencias que tenía Le Corbusier durante su creación.
