Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2011El reordenamiento de un municipio lleva implícito una cantidad no determinada de requerimientos y necesidades, en las cuales surgen cualidades que conlleva a que sea una respuesta arquitectónica única. La principal determinante en el reordenamiento es la nueva vocación turística propuesta para la Virginia, en la cual se plantea una solución para las constantes inundaciones, con la relocalización de las viviendas afectadas, además de tratar los ríos como fuente de acogida y potencial turísticos para la zona, teniendo en cuenta lasposibles conexiones con los municipios cercanos en un contexto regional. / Abstract: The reorganization of a municipality implies an undetermined number of requirements and needs, which arise qualities that leads to it, is a unique architectural response.
