Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Administrativas, Pereira, 2010El presente informe sustenta la implementación del método 5 S, el cual contiene las fases de clasificar, orden, limpieza, mantener y disciplina aplicados a la Empresa Austin Reed Manufacturas & CIA. LTDA., teniendo como finalidad mejorar las condiciones de clima laboral, ambiente laboral, aumento de eficiencia y a la vez tener un mejoramiento continuo en cuanto a aspectos de producción; Conjuntamente se trata desde la parte teórica y sus ilustres, como documentar, aplicar y evaluar los resultados obtenidos del método. Al mismo tiempo se evidencia el diagnostico realizado a dicha Empresa, el cual trajo como consecuencia la implementación del método 5S y los ejes a intervenir, siendo trazados como objetivos para ser cumplidos en el tiempo de duración de la práctica profesional. /Abstract: The present report sustains the implementation of the 5S method, which holds the phases of classify, order, cleaning, maintain and discipline apply to the company Austin Reed Manufacturers & CIA. LTD., having as a main target the improvement of the working conditions as the labor environment, an efficiency increase and at the same time a continuous improvement in regard of production aspects; jointly it is manage from the theory part and its basis as documentation, apply and evaluate the results obtained from the method. At the same time makes evidence the diagnose made to the mention company, which brought as a consequence the implementation of the 5S method and the parameters to be intervene, been outlined as objectives to be accomplished during the time that the professional internship last.Universidad Católica de Pereira.
