Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2021El presente proyecto se desarrolla en el marco del proceso investigativo del periodo académico 2020-2 “Proyecto y Memoria”, y el periodo 2021-1 “Trabajo de Grado II”; se pretende llevar al lector a la reflexión sobre la temática de la memoria, cómo surge y se desarrolla individualmente y cómo se transforma y se constituye en una memoria colectiva. Lo anterior, se empezará a relacionar con la reconocida arquitectura de la “colonización antioqueña” y sus elementos arquitectónicos, como por ejemplo el patio y el corredor que han sido objeto amplio de estudio, por esta razón esta investigación se delimitará al muro en bahareque, enfatizando en la importancia de la memoria colectiva y el valor simbólico que esta le puede asignar a los elementos arquitectónicos de la cultura cafetera. Es pertinente mencionar que a través de este documento se pretende estimular y contribuir al reconocimiento del valor simbólico que carga el muro en bahareque en las viviendas cafeteras, por los habitantes y turistas del centro histórico del municipio de Filandia, Quindío; ya que al ser un referente turístico de esta cultura, el enfoque o el interés de la mayoría se centra específicamente en las artesanías, caficultura y en los elementos externos de su arquitectura como las fachadas y balcones coloridos, mientras que el muro en bahareque pasa a un segundo plano y se desconoce la historia y la memoria que se cuenta sobre él. Por lo anterior, a lo largo de esta investigación se identifican, recopilan y analizan documentos investigativos para establecer esa relación directa entre la memoria y la arquitectura de la colonización enmarcados en el muro en bahareque de la vivienda cafetera, para así consolidar su importancia y proponer las estrategias que pretenden salvaguardar y reconocer el valor simbólico este elemento arquitectónico, debido a la carga simbólica asignada por la cultura cafetera, que transmite antecedentes, experiencias, vivencias, costumbres y demás tradiciones. / Abstract: This project is developed within the framework of the research process of the academic period 2020-2 "Project and Memory", and the period 2021-1 "Degree Work II"; it is intended to lead the reader to reflect on the theme of memory, how it arises and develops individually and how it is transformed and constituted in a collective memory. This will begin to be related to the recognized architecture of the "Antioquian colonization" and its architectural elements, such as the patio and the corridor that have been the object of extensive study, for this reason this research will be delimited to the wall in bahareque, emphasizing the importance of the collective memory and the symbolic value that this can be assigned to the architectural elements of the coffee culture. It is pertinent to mention that through this document it is intended to stimulate and contribute to the recognition of the symbolic value that the wattle and daub wall has in the coffee houses, by the inhabitants and tourists of the historical center of the municipality of Filandia, Quindío; Since it is a tourist reference of this culture, the focus or interest of the majority is centered specifically on the handicrafts, coffee growing and on the external elements of its architecture such as the facades and colorful balconies, while the wattle and daub wall passes to a second plane and the history and memory that is told about it is unknown.
