Facultad de Arquitectura y Diseño, Pereira, 2010El escenario de reflexión sobre la ciudad, su planificación y la vivienda como hecho puntual arquitectónico se crea desde el IV concurso de vivienda CONVIVE a través de la revista escala, la sociedad colombiana de arquitectos, la asociación colombiana de facultades de arquitectura y el consejo profesional nacional de arquitectura y sus profesiones auxiliares, y con el apoyo de un grupo institucional constituido por la dirección de gestión del riesgo, el equipo técnico de naciones unidas para la emergencia, la gerencia del proceso galeras, la alcaldía de pasto y la gobernación de Nariño. CONVIVE IV Concurso de carácter académico el cual convocó facultades y programas de arquitectura de nuestro país y en este caso especial conto con la participación de facultades de arquitectura de ecuador como país invitado. Tan mencionado concurso se realizará en el valle de Atríz, territorio que alberga la ciudad de pasto y otros 24 centros poblados, entre ellos 4 que serán de especial atención por parte de los participantes. El enfoque del concurso es desarrollar una propuesta urbana y arquitectónica de carácter pre-profesional, es decir estudiantes de pregrado, destinada al reasentamiento rural colectivo para la población que habita el área de influencia del volcán Galeras también conocida como ZAVA (zona de amenaza volcánica alta). CONVIVE en su IV edición no solo aboga por la inclusión de las variables territoriales, geográficas, ambientales, urbanas, arquitectónicas, sociales y económicas del territorio a intervenir si no que también invita a los participantes a que mantengan como punto clave la relación entre los habitantes que ocupan estos diferentes poblados, llenos de raíces culturales marcadas por la presencia del volcán Galeras el cual es un símbolo en muchos casos hasta de adoración por parte de la población. / Abstract: The setting for reflection on the city planning and housing as a single architectonic event is created from the IV CONVIVE home competition through the Escala magazine, the Colombian society of architects, the Colombian association of faculties of architecture and the national council of architecture and its professional careers, the competition has the support of an institutional group integrated by the risk management commission, the UN technical team for emergencies, process Galeras council, the municipality of Pasto and the government of Nariño. CONVIVE IV Competition which summoned academic faculties and programs of architecture in our country and in this special case counted with the participation of schools of architecture from Ecuador as guest country. This competition will take place in the valley of Atriz, territory that is home to the city of Pasto and 24 other towns including four that are of particular attention to the participants. The focus of the contest is to develop an urban and architectural pre-professional proposal, for collective rural resettlement for the population inhabiting the area surrounding the Galeras volcano, also known as Zava (high volcanic hazard zone.)
