Summary:This work was done for my degree in order to determine the viability of a company that provided document management solutions to various private companies to the city of Manizales, allowing greater specialization in its objects, generating revenue, and helping them in minimizing the various risks to which they are exposed by improper handling of your files. More importantly, with the commissioning company, which seeks work in a change of corporate culture, there are incentives in the Act 594 of 2000 that can be exploited, so it would mean businesses reducing their operating expenses. Because to implement document management systems according to the needs of each service contracting companies, means all types integrate electronic or physical documentaries in a single database, which could follow the path to the document since its creation, thereby reducing time to search archived items that would control access to confidential documents to certain users which would apply selection criteria to store your documents, as directed by the governing body (AGN), in applying withholding tables and discarding translations of the latest recordkeeping by value administrative, being legally and historically important. And finally, it helps when making decisions and positive impacts for the basic objective of every business´s finances.
