Summary: | The present investigation was based on the application of didactic strategies for the education of the ecosystems and the promotion of scientific competences oriented to children of 4th grade of the Second Hainaut Educational Institution. Didactic strategies refer to tasks and activities set by the teacher to achieve certain learning objectives, and scientific competences ensure that students have the ability to acquire and generate knowledge. For the development of the research a diagnostic workshop was applied to 29 students, which allowed to assess the knowledge of the students, in the application of strategies was developed by four planners and a guide which contained strategies such as brainstorming, questioning, inquiry, cooperative learning, play, reading and a guide. Finally, a final workshop was implemented to assess the students' process. Finding that these strategies allowed to generate curiosity, teamwork, solution of questions, generation of questions through the teaching of ecosystems, concluding that the promotion of scientific competences through the application of teaching strategies allows students to develop the capacity of transform their knowledge and do not resort to the students' rote learning. |
