In achieve this goal it exists a framework called SEMAT, which is a proposal to conceive this standardization and unification. In this document this framework is going to be used to unify the goal oriented requirements engineering methodology called iStar and the Business Motivation Model (BMM) which is a model that provide a schema or structure to develop, communicate, and manage the business plans in an organization in an organized way. In this way, this proposal of unifying will gather strengths of both methods, under a framework that is seeking the standardization.

La ingeniería del software es una disciplina relativamente nueva y se encuentra canalizando esfuerzos con el fin de madurar; pero, para lograr este objetivo, debe pasar por dicho proceso de estandarización. Para este fin existe un framework llamado SEMAT, el cual es una propuesta para concebir esta estandarización y unificación. En este documento se hará uso de este framework para unificar la metodología de la ingeniería de requisitos orientada a metas, llamado iStar y el Business Motivation Model (BMM) el cual es un modelo que provee un esquema o estructura para desarrollar, comunicar, y administrar los planes de negocio en una organización de manera organizada.
