| Summary: | This Project on investment has as main objective to create a PET bottle recycle company in Pereira City where PET material is productively used and turned into small flakes. Besides , if this material is correctly treated, it is indeed useful as a raw material to produce textiles, fibers and food package. Nowadays, the constant growth of waste has caused different problems in diverse countries, the environmental degradation caused by non-biodegradable waste (this means that waste will not break down for many year- between 100 and 1000 years approximately like PET material-) has caused a high degree of pollution. With the aim of working out this environmental degradation, this Project tries to acquire plastic bottles from supply stores which realize the material collection and afterward, carry out a process of recovery by means of selecting, grinding, cleaning up and drying the required material, using an amount of 36 tons a month. The Enterprise tries to adapt itself to economical, social-political and environmental high standards, and constant changes that are produced around the world, according to the sustainable development approach in the dynamic globalization process. The trading activity of COLPROPET company S.A.S has got great possibilities inside the country and abroad due to the growth that the market of plastic waste undergoes and also because of the fact that recycling is at its peak throughout the world. In financial terms, it is a feasible company because it has a internal rate of return of 35.74 and a net present value of $ 41.088.683. |
