Summary: | This research was conducted to identify deficiencies in basic primary students regarding environmental education and exposed in the teaching-learning process. The study was aimed as a qualitative research with descriptive-interpretative character; which aimed to the development of Ecological Guidelines knowledge of environmental problems generating a sensible thought; to allow meaningful learning about the environmental problems we face today, this project was developed in two educational institutions, Rufino José Cuervo South - Mother Marcelina headquarters of Armenia and Calarca Robledo, worked with grades 4 and 5 of basic primary with which the Ecological Guidelines previously elaborated each focused on environmental issues (climate change, thinning of the ozone layer, loss of biodiversity, solid waste and pollution, framed in the global scope) were developed, then the information was collected through surveys, performance in the development of Ecological Guidelines and finally the proper implementation of the virtual evaluation since it was developed independently. The results showed that this research helped to identify major environmental problems, their causes, consequences and possible mitigations. The realization of this project allows us to conclude that educational institutions must go deeper about environmental problem that occurs at present and promote the use of new technological tools such as interactive blogs and teaching to allow students an autonomous and meaningful learning. |
