Respuesta local empresarial del Departamento del Quindío frente a la integración global. Monografía

The business sector of Quindio's department has been discussed in various social and cultural aspects at departmental level, due to their performance at the local level is considered low for the global integration according to numbers that throw the newsletters and reports published regularly by the Bank of Republic, but the new millennium requires that each region increase its performance for the survival of its habitants. Notwithstanding, the current situation of the department we can observe by a careful study of written papers, articles in the media and interviews with various departmental actors, both local and foreign consider to the department of Quindío like one of the regions Top economic potential, not only for the richness of their land, geographical location, tempered climate that facilitates a variety of business, also because human talent of the department is considered one of the most valuable and productive, and the entities of public sector are working on projects that support and positively mobilize departmental economy. So, We can focus on the fact that the most important thing is identify the weaknesses that owns the Quindío’s department, which are impeding a better business performance and find solutions or alternatives to the business sector in general a better performance and collaboration between institutions, designing strategies to articulated and permit to create together a joint force behind the department towards globalization with guarantees of success that give the necessary security to departmental business sector.
